I’m sitting here in a coffee shop in Sydney just after my ‘rejection meeting’ with Screen NSW - meanwhile I’m getting “where the fuck are u?” messages from all my friends in Cannes …. A very difficult moment . I’m feeling sad and like I’m missing out on the world - its passing me by man
A friend of mine ‘Garnet’ is doing a “Crashing Cannes” TV show in Cannes right now . He’s the only guy who had ever been banned from Screen Australia’s annual Cannes party … He’s the perfect guy for the job … I’m imagining what he’s doing right now … I wish I was there with him … I reckon I’m the 2nd most appropriate guy for that job !!!
Screen NSW were nice ppl but v unsure about transmedia - the idea of adding a narrative to a virtual world is just not sinking in … It was just toooo risky for them to swallow .. Dudes it’s actually pretty simple and way easier than you think .., the plan is done … I just need to able to have a go at it .. I’m a Director and a Cross Platform Prroducer & no one else is ! Please someone get inside my head before its too late … The world is spinning away like a top - catch it with me and come on the lucrative ride that it will be …
